This beer and other barrel-aged goodies are definitely worth a closer look. Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien (2006 vintage) is an unfiltered, unpasteurized, barrel-aged limited-edition ale brewed by Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes in Switzerland. I greatly enjoy these aged brews and I am glad to see that barrel-aging is gaining in popularity. On another note, If you’re looking for something tasty (and not $35 dollars per bottle), I recommend the Oaked Arrogant Bastard Ale from Stone Brewing Company.
