In case you haven’t heard, North American Truffle Growers Association is holding its first annual North American Truffle Fest at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina from March 5th through 8th, 2009. If you’ve got some extra cash lying around ($100 for basic per person to ~$1500 for the best tickets) I’d recommend the trip. Interestingly, North Carolina is a very good place to grow truffles. Looking forward to going to the Truffle Festival. There are so many interesting speakers and exhibits that I don’t want to miss. Also, the Asheville area is a nice place to be! If you are even remotely interested in truffles-growing or eating- I’d advise you to go to this event. Well worth the money!
